Therapeutic Body Work

In-person sessions for Therapeutic Body Work include intention setting, time on the table for Cranial-Sacral and Reiki treatment, possibly a cup of grounding, hot tea, definitely filtered water. We follow the thread of what you need in that moment and allow that to dictate the flow of our time together.

These in-person sessions are the only one-off work I offer, though I do suggest that you commit to and schedule at least 3 sessions with me in order to receive the deepest, most transformational results.

Cranial-Sacral therapy works with the flexible bones in the cranium, the cerebro-spinal fluid, and the sacrum to relax the body, reset the cranial rhythm, and release adhesions in the body that restrict the flow of fluid around your nerve endings. Reiki is an ancient therapy that simply uses the flow of divine healing energy to support the treatment. These therapies help calm the nervous system, release pain, and help the client achieve a feeling of peace and calm.

My studio is located in a part of Chesapeake, VA, and is 10-15 minutes from downtown Norfolk, Greenbrier, and Kempsville. 20 minutes from the Va Beach oceanfront. New clients who do not have a personal reference will need to schedule a connection call via Zoom prior to scheduling an appointment with me (please see below for links where you can reach me). I work from home and inviting someone into my space is a tender thing, hence the need to know something about you before inviting you here.

What you can expect:

Arrive at or a few minutes before your appointment time and we will sit down and have a chat about what is going on for you and what your needs are.

You will set an intention for your treatment—this could be to release pain in your body or to to find emotional center or something more specific. This can be written, spoken, or unspoken.

We may pull an oracle card to further deepen your awareness of the energies at play in your session.

You will get on the table—all treatments offered are done fully clothed—and get comfortable and I will begin the light touches of a Reiki treatment or a cranialsacral treatment—your choice, though I am always running the healing energy of Reiki, regardless of the treatment performed.

All treatments include aromatherapy in the form of diffused essential oils and music and these can be declined. Whatever you prefer.

If you would like to add a Flower Essence Constitutional Remedy to your treatment there is an extra $25 charge and we will do this after your body work is complete to be sure the essence resonates with your upgraded energy.

At the end of the treatment you will stay an extra 15-30 for a conversation, processing, feedback, or deeper integration…and mostly this is so that you are grounded enough to safely drive.

Appointment length will be between 1 and 1 1/2 hours.

All of my offerings are made with the understanding that both the client and I will remain fully clothed and there will be no sexual touch of any kind.

Tong Len

Tong Len is a Tibetan Buddhist practice used for clearing pain and trauma from the heart, mind, body, spirit. It can be used to support yourself, another person, a group of people, or the entire planet and all of its beings.

If you are interested in Tong Len, I will first do a session with you for you. If you’re interested in learning the practice, a second session can be scheduled during which I will teach you this practice.

Womb Clearing and Healing

Why is womb clearing important? At it’s most basic level, the answer is that womb healing and clearing are important because we live in a world where those of us who cycle monthly are reviled, diminished, and made fun of because we menstruate. We are cat-called, told we’re moody or hormonal, hear the old line, ‘Nothing that can bleed for seven days and not die is natural.” And on and on and on.
